Pawns of Promise Life Development

There's More to Becoming Who You're Meant to Be.

Life Development is the faith-based coaching and mentorship arm of Pawns of Promise. It exists for people who know they need more than information — they need accountability, direction, and someone in their corner who takes their growth seriously.

This Is for You If...

Life Development isn't a self-help course. It's a real coaching relationship. Here's who it serves best.

You know what you should do — but you're not doing it.

You have the knowledge. You have the goals. But something keeps getting in the way — distraction, fear, inconsistency, or a lack of someone holding you to the standard you set for yourself.

You're a young man who needs a model and a mentor.

Not just someone to tell you what to do — someone who actually shows you what character, discipline, and purpose look like in practice. A mentor who has done the work themselves.

You're a parent who wants more for your child than academic achievement.

Grades matter. But so does integrity, resilience, and learning to take responsibility for choices. Life Development helps young people build the inner foundation that achievement alone doesn't give them.

You're in a season of transition and you're not sure what comes next.

A new chapter, a hard decision, a loss, a question that won't go away — sometimes what you need most isn't advice. It's a space to think clearly with someone who will pray with you and tell you the truth.

You lead a church, school, or organization that serves young people.

Your community needs programming that takes character seriously — not just entertainment or information. Partner programs bring workshops, mentorship frameworks, and leadership development into your setting.

You're a man who wants accountability and community with purpose.

The men's development group is for men who are done coasting and want to grow — in faith, in discipline, in how they lead their families and communities.

Programs and Services

Each program is designed around a real relationship, a real plan, and honest accountability.

Faith-Based Life Coaching

One-on-one coaching for individuals navigating decisions, direction, purpose, and practical life goals. Sessions are rooted in faith, grounded in truth, and focused on real movement — not just inspiration.

Character Development Coaching

For individuals who want to grow in specific areas: responsibility, integrity, follow-through, handling failure well, and showing up consistently for the people who depend on them.

Youth Mentorship

Structured mentorship for young people — typically middle school through early college — focused on discipline, respect, goal-setting, and learning to lead themselves before they're asked to lead others.

Leadership Development

For students, emerging leaders, and individuals stepping into new roles. Leadership development coaching focuses on influence, responsibility, communication, and the character required to lead well.

Men's Development Group

A group setting for men committed to growth — in faith, in discipline, in how they show up for their families and communities. Accountability, purpose, and brotherhood in one place.

Church & School Workshops

Partner programs for churches, schools, homeschool groups, and youth organizations. Workshop formats include character development series, leadership training, and youth mentorship frameworks.

The process

How Life Development Works

Every coaching relationship starts with an honest conversation — not a program enrollment. The discovery call exists to make sure we're the right fit before anything begins.

  1. Book a discovery call. Share what you're looking for and what's brought you here. No commitment required — just a real conversation.
  2. We discuss fit, needs, and expectations. This includes clarifying what Life Development coaching is and what it isn't — so there are no surprises.
  3. Confirm the program. If there's a clear fit, we agree on format, frequency, and the first practical goals.
  4. Start coaching. Sessions are structured, personal, and accountable — not casual check-ins.
  5. Review and adjust every 4–6 weeks. Progress is tracked, the plan is adjusted, and honest feedback goes both directions.

Programs for Churches, Schools, Homeschool Groups, and Youth Organizations

If you lead a community that serves young people, partner programs bring the Life Development framework into your setting — adapted to your context, your audience, and your goals.

We've worked with churches, youth groups, and schools who needed programming that went beyond Sunday school or character education posters — and actually created real conversations about discipline, leadership, and purpose.
